A mossy, grumbling troll who heals almost as fast as you can hit him.
Old Mossback has lived under the same bridge for so long that moss and mushrooms grow on his back. He charges a toll of one shiny thing per traveller, and he gets very cross when people try to sneak past.
At the table, he can be a fight or a deal. Heroes who bring a torch learn fast why he fears fire; heroes who bring a shiny spoon might just cross for free.
