Polymorph is a level 4 spell for your D&D table. You turn a creature into an animal: a dragon into a toad, a friend into a giant eagle. A foe can resist with a wisdom roll.
Polymorph is the most fun spell at the table. With a wave of green light a creature becomes a new beast with new hit points: an ogre turns into a very confused chicken, or the party's smallest hero becomes a huge bear.
At the table, it can end a fight or start a story. When the new shape runs out of hit points, the creature turns back with its own hit points, so a toad-dragon is only a pause, not a victory.
