DnD for Kids

Play Dungeons & Dragons with your kids, ages 6 and up, no experience needed. GrowlMaster handles the map, the heroes and the dice, so you play together around the table, not on a screen. Real time together that builds math, reading, imagination, problem solving and teamwork.

Play real life role play without any previous knowledge

A complete set of tools for running a role play game with your kids

A GrowlMaster table mid-battle: skeletons and Burrowfang the Mole King against the heroes on a stone board, a dwarf's turn, Roll 1d20.
A battle board: two heroes and a monster on a grid, walls and crates around them.

What is roleplaying?

Roleplaying is make-believe with rules. Your child says what their hero does, a die decides if it works, and the story goes on from there. There is no board to win, only an adventure to live through together.

What is a table?

A table is a game night: a few people around a map, each one playing a hero, and one grown-up telling the story. GrowlMaster is that table on a screen, with the map, the heroes, the monsters and the dice already on it.

What do you do in the game?

You tell them where they are and what they see. They explore a cave, talk to a goblin, buy a rope, fight a rat, find a key. You roll dice for the hard parts and keep the story moving. One evening is one chapter.

Adventure

Any adventure, yours or ours

GrowlMaster handles any adventure file. Import the adventures you already have, or use GrowlMaster's own, like the Goblin's Cave, ready in every new table.

Sheets

Sheets you can edit and print

Every hero, monster, item and spell has its own sheet with everything on it: the numbers, the attacks, the picture. Change it at the table as you play, or print it and play on paper.

What is inside a table

  1. The place the party is in, the battle on the board, a picture or a map you pin for them. You run the game from the panels around it.

The GrowlMaster Table in a cosy living room: a dwarf hero and two goblins standing on the round board.
  2. Each child gets a hero: name, race and profession, hit points, strengths, attacks, coins and a bag. Print it for the fridge, or keep it on screen.

Elbroom Ironvein's hero sheet: level 7 Dwarf Cleric, his picture, hit points, level, experience, armor and attack bonuses.
  3. Heroes, monsters, spells, items, maps and places in one library. Add any of them to the table in one tap.

A grid of shared growls: foes and monsters, each a card with its large picture.
  4. Heroes and monsters on a board. A tap picks who attacks whom, the board says what to roll and what hits, and keeps every monster's hit points for you.

A battle on the GrowlMaster table, zoomed in: Elbroom and two goblins on the board, Elbroom attacking a goblin, Roll 1d20 and the number needed to hit.
  5. Roll two dice or more and the dice ask the children to add them up, in their own handwriting. A right sum wins a prize for their bag.

Two dice rolled on the dice table, the math note asking for their sum, a pencil ready to write the answer.
